After last week’s gruelling battle, K Sports were keen to return to the slick passing game against Old Bordenians. It would be the away team who started the brightest, when they broke down an attack and quickly moved the ball down to the K sports defence and slotted the ball into the home goal.

This kicked K Sports into gear and they then took control of the game and the lions share of the possession and created a lot of chances. The Old Bordenians defence was up to the task and thwarted K Sports attacks.

K Sports won a string of short corners which were saved by the Old Bordenians Keeper. Until a well struck short corner shot was saved by the Keeper, only for the ball to drop in front of Neil Mitchell, who slotted the ball home to get the scores level at half time.

In the second half K sports again applied the pressure to the away team, but every attack was met with a good save by the Old Bordenians Keeper. This enabled them to get a quick breakaway and the game became an end to end affair. Old Bordenains Secured the 3 points for the game with another breakaway goal.

Man of the Match Mark O’Brian played a fantastic game in defence.
Next week we travel to Blackheath with a 1300 pushback, supporters welcome.
