Sutton Valance started very strongly and were snapping at K Sports’ heels from the outset. They mounted attack after attack but K Sports held strong and started to exert pressure of their own and from one of these attacks they managed to score – in fairness a little against the run of play. The game then went backwards and forwards for the rest of the half but K Sports managed to add a second goal.

The 2nd half commenced with Sutton Valence taking control, but K Sports still remaining strong and battled away to protect the score. Sadly, Sutton Valence managed to score and K Sports took some umpiring decisions. For Sutton Valence it was the boost they needed, and they went on to score two more goals and take all three points.

K Sports can take away some real positives: A fine performance from their youngest player Ethan, who gets better each week; the continued development of the other youngster Haydn; and the form of goalkeeper Mike Newmarch, who treated us all to a magnificent display and deservedly won the man of the match award.
