A Development Centre is a place where young players learn and develop within their own age group and maybe the first step for representative hockey, but everyone will improve.

Development centres are open to all whatever their ability, so do not worry if you are unsure as to the level required as Development Centres are open to all abilities.

Kent’s DC and AC PROGRAMME 2023-24 - Tentative Dates

These dates are based on EH Priority List and from last season’s match dates. EH use Sundays as the beginning of their weeks so some DC, T1 and T2 Training sessions may be on Fridays. There will be no trials.

Age groups have been grouped, so U13,14s and 15s form one group and U16s and U17s the other.

Once registered, dates will be confirmed by the relevant Manager.

DC and AC T1 and T2 Training

3 – AC T1 1-Sunday 3rd December (U16 and U15s)
3 – AC T1 1 -Sunday 10th December (U17, U14 and U13s)
4 – AC T1 2 – Sunday 17th December (All)

T2 Dates

1 – AC T2 1 -7th January
2 – AC T2 2 -11th February

Notes:
• Only 4 Match Days required but 5 needed to cover split age groups.

AC T2 match day Training Days are Friday pm

T2 Training 1 – 8th March.

T2 Training 3 – 19th April.

Match 3 – Sunday 21st April

T2 Training 4 – 3rd May.
