We are pleased to inform you about the launch of England Hockey’s Spirit of Hockey - Code of Conduct. Spirit of Hockey -Code of Conduct reflects the commitment to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment throughout the sport.

The decision to update the “Respect” document marks a significant departure from what has gone before. The new document is more compact, with a focus on promoting positive values and a vision of what we want hockey to be, rather than providing a detailed list of expected behaviours or "dos and don'ts”.

This streamlined approach encourages a culture of respect, inclusivity, and fairness, ensuring these core principles are at the heart of everything we do. The same values and messaging will be consistently reinforced through all our communications and embedded into numerous work-streams across England Hockey over the coming years.

All content related to the Spirit of Hockey - Code of Conduct is now available in the documents section of our site. This call for action is to ask each player, official, volunteer and supporter to please read and review the detail on these documents. They are attached to this article for your reference.
